CRISP & GREEN Launches Franchise Program

After exceptional performance, brand seeks to expand nationally

Under the leadership of Steele Smiley, CRISP & GREEN is rolling out a new franchise program, a year after opening two successful locations in Wayzata and the North Loop in Minneapolis.

Smiley, a Minneapolis entrepreneur known for creating the Steele Fitness brand, was originally a silent partner in the initial launch of CRISP & GREEN, but took over as majority owner and operator in the summer of 2017. 

His experience with managing domestic and international franchise growth coupled with a passion for health and nutrition puts CRISP & GREEN in the right place at the right time, according to Smiley: “CRISP & GREEN recognizes the needs of consumers who want a nutritious, quick meal with a proven business model that has experienced operational success,” Smiley said. “We are now ready to share this concept with other entrepreneurs who share our passion for health and wellness. We expect to add several new Twin Cities locations by the end of 2018 and most importantly we look forward to expanding the brand nationally.”

The fast-casual restaurant hosts fitness and wellness events to complement their menus that include a an assortment of nutritious items including salads, grain bowls, soups and smoothies, all curated by Bill Fairbanks, CRISP & GREEN’s in-house chef.

The launch of their franchise program will make CRISP & GREEN one of the few healthy, scratch-made, fast casual franchise opportunities in the country.
