Applications for the 2014 Ace Leadership Program close Nov. 14
A feature story in the February 2013 issue of Minnesota Business ("Stragetic growth: How employees and their bosses are benefiting from Minnesota's executive education programs") showed how Digineer CEO Michael Lacey fully supported one of his company's rising stars to participate in the ACE Leadership Program. Held by the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), the program is designed to develop Minnesota's next generation of technology leaders. The MHTA's highly accomplished CEO Margaret Anderson Kelliher (pictured) leads the program, which begins in January and consists of seven day-long sessions over the course of the year. Senior executives from the technology, government, and education sectors will share lessons learned in their areas of expertise. Participants will discuss ideas and apply them in their own organizations, plus collaborate with other next-generation leaders. Of course, participating in the program means lost time at work. As Lacey sees it, "The commitment often comes at a short-term cost, but the long-term benefits far outweigh any impact on immediate productivity."
