HGTV launches new pilot with Minnesota couple

Network will air pilot next month with owners of Fox Homes

Get ready HGTV fans — the favorite network for DIYers and home décor devotees is launching a pilot for a new renovation show, and it features two of our own: Minneapolis couple and real estate/renovation team, Heather and Brad Fox. The couple own Fox Homes, which specializes in keeping homeowners in their favorite neighborhoods by renovating either their current homes or a not-quite-what-I-was-looking-for-but-it-fits-my-budget home. The Foxes started their business right after the recession, when individuals were more conservative in their home buying.

The Foxes show, “Stay or Sell,” airs on Monday, July 9th at 10 p.m. CST. The  pilot focuses on St. Louis Park couple, Liza and Brian Hill. A public pilot viewing party will be held at 6Smith in Wayzata from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

“When we got the call from HGTV, we knew this would only work for us if we could focus on projects we complete for our clients, not flips.” said Brad Fox in a statement. “They created the premise of the show around what we actually do. We help clients stay in the areas they love by focusing on their ideal neighborhood and knowing we can completely recreate the house. When you find an area you love, we want to help keep you there.”

If the show is a success, “Stay or Sell” will be picked up for a full season in 2018.
