Manufacturing professionals from across Minnesota scored awards and recognition on Sept. 23 at the 2014 Manufacturing Awards by Minnesota Business magazine. The gala took place in Aria, an event space in the trendy North Loop neighborhood in Minneapolis.

Rich Wagner, president of nearby Dunwoody College of Technology, led attendees through the evening, sharing his insights into the industry as his school prepares to celebrate its 100-year anniversary.

The event included the use of mobile technology platform VoiceHive, which allowed audience members to answer questions and see their responses in real-time on a screen behind the stage.
