As of March 1, the St. Cloud Radisson Suite Hotel will take on a new name, Le St-Germain Suite Hotel, as it becomes the city’s first luxury-boutique hotel, according to Graves Hospitality Corp., the luxury hotel management and distribution company that owns the hotel.
“The ownership, management and team-members will remain the same as the spaces, amenities and services are enhanced,” said Benjamin Graves, president of Graves Hospitality Corp. “This move strategically elevates our St. Cloud hotel into our portfolio of unique, upscale, experience-based properties.”
The decision to reposition the hotel into a more upscale market was influenced by changes in St. Cloud’s community. Changes include the ongoing beautification of the city’s riverfront and the increasing diversity of downtown businesses and retail, a news release said.
“St. Cloud simply continues to evolve,” Graves said. “We want to create a destination, luxury-focused hotel that reflects those changes.”
The hotel has undergone several renovations for the past 18 months. Enhancements include an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a grand ballroom, and 103 rooms equipped with in-room wet bars, Hermes soaps, and flat-screen televisions.
The Le St-Germain Suite Hotel was also recently accepted into the Worldhotels group, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies.
Being a part of Worldhotels will help the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel gain exposure to new audiences and several distribution channels, officials said in a news release.
