Women’s Business Development Center-Minnesota to Host 11th Annual Celebration of Success

To kick off Women’s History Month, the Women’s Business Development Center – Minnesota (WBDC-MN) will host its 11th Annual Celebration of Success at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, on Thursday, March 2, from 3 to 7 p.m.

The event begins with a panel discussion titled “Forecasting Corporate Supplier Diversity/Contracting Trends and the Evolving Marketplace” from 3 to 5 p.m. Speakers will include representatives from the corporate and government sectors as well as women business owners who are certified as Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).

The Celebration of Success awards ceremony, with special remarks by Alex Tittle, vice president, Business Connect/Corporate Affairs, Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, will immediately follow in the Alumni Center's Memorial Hall. Awards will be presented in six categories. The annual celebration was created to recognize the achievements of the more than 360 local women who are certified as Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) and to recognize corporate and community partners and volunteers of the WBDC-MN.
