AirCorps Aviation will move forward with a major expansion of its Bemidji operations following a $175,000 award from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s Job Creation Fund. The company, known internationally for restoring and manufacturing World War II and legacy aircraft, will invest $986,000 to upgrade and expand its current site.
The project is expected to create 14 new jobs over the next three years, strengthening northern Minnesota’s position in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors. AirCorps Aviation’s growth reflects increasing demand for specialized aircraft restoration, precision fabrication and aerospace components. DEED officials say the investment will help support high‑skill jobs and long‑term economic vitality in the region.
