Drive-Thru-Only Coffee Franchise Accelerates Expansion in Minnesota

Brew 4 You, the fast‑growing 7 Brew Coffee franchisee driving the brand’s Upper Midwest expansion, has secured a second Rochester location as it evaluates additional Minnesota markets for continued growth.

On May 22, Net Lease Development of Fort Worth, Texas—working with Brew 4 You—purchased the former Alerus/Home Federal Savings Bank building at 1201 S. Broadway for $1.7 million. The 62‑year‑old structure, located at the entrance to Crossroads Shopping Center, is to be converted into a drive‑thru‑only 7 Brew Coffee shop, according to the Rochester Post Bulletin. Construction plans are expected to be submitted in early June, with a targeted opening in January 2027. This follows Brew 4 You’s first Rochester project, now underway on a one‑acre lot at 37th Street NW and 21st Avenue NW, slated to open in late 2026.

The franchise group—led by Jonathan Lippincott, Loren Lippincott and Kayla Smith—has been rapidly scaling the Arkansas‑born brand across Wisconsin and is now positioning Minnesota as its next major growth frontier.

Beyond Rochester, Brew 4 You has a location in Moorhead and has been actively evaluating several Minnesota markets that match 7 Brew’s high‑volume, commuter‑driven model. Industry sources, real estate activity and the group’s own site‑selection patterns point to Mankato, Duluth, Brainerd/Baxter, Elk River, Monticello and the southern Twin Cities suburbs as likely next steps. The company also just announced it plans to open a location in Fargo.

Each 7 Brew typically employs 60 to 75 people, making expansion a meaningful job creator. It says it sells thousands of unique beverages including coffee, infused energy drinks, Italian sodas, smoothies, teas and other products made by parent company 7 Brew.
