The Minneapolis-based bank said yesterday it plans to trim its total number of bank branches by up to 15 percent by 2021 as it trims expenses and expands more into digital tools, according to a Wall Street Journal story today. The regional lender’s branch count will still tally close to 3,000 thereafter.
