Questions Raised Regarding Mayo Clinic’s Abu Dhabi Hospital Plans

Fargo Forum’s Paul John Scott explores in this story criticism over Rochester-based Mayo Clinic’s teaming up with the United Arab Emirates government-owned health care corporation SEHA to establish Mayo’s first non-U.S. location in Abu Dhabi, which was announced last month.

The story also ponders “how might the clinic navigate the sometimes striking social- and gender inequities embedded within the cultural and legal traditions of the UAE.”
