Fifteen employers across southeast Minnesota have been recognized as the region’s 2026 Best Places to Work, an annual program led by Workforce Development, Inc. Now in its 16th year, the initiative highlights organizations that excel in building strong workplace cultures, supporting employee growth and fostering high levels of engagement. The effort is supported in partnership with the Workforce Development Boards of Southeast Minnesota and Winona.
This year’s honorees represent 11 counties across the region and span three size categories. In the Small Employer group, Arcadian Bank was among those recognized for its commitment to employee development and community‑centered values. The Mid‑Size Employer category included companies such as Custom Alarm, noted for its focus on training and long‑term career pathways. Among Large Employers, Olmsted County earned recognition for its broad workforce initiatives and emphasis on organizational excellence.
Award recipients gain the ability to display the official “Best Places to Work” designation in their marketing, receive a custom banner for their workplace and enjoy yearlong recognition within their communities and industries.
Workforce Development, Inc. says the program continues to spotlight employers who are raising the bar for what it means to create a supportive, high‑performing workplace in southeast Minnesota.
